Lady Haig’s Poppy Factory 100 Years Brooch features a four-petal red poppy with gold tone edging and a dark centre set with a clear crystal and black detailing. A curved stem sits beneath the flower and is engraved 1926–2026, finished with a small crystal detail at the tip and a secure pin fastening on the reverse.

This commemorative design marks 100 years since Lady Haig established the Edinburgh poppy factory in 1926 to produce poppies for Scotland, based on the four-petal poppy with no leaf. It also reflects the poppy’s role as a symbol of Remembrance, adopted for the first Poppy Appeal in 1921 and inspired by John McCrae’s 1915 poem In Flanders Fields.
