Secretary of State for Scotland Visits the Poppy Factory

Today we hosted a visit from the Secretary of State for Scotland Rt. Hon. Alistair Carmichael MP.  The Minister visited the factory in order to make his own act of remembrance on this the  70th Anniversary of the D-Day Landings.  The Minister was escorted around the factory by Arthur Dyke, Ex-Scots Guards.  He concluded his visit by signing the Visitors Book and having his photograph taken with some of the workforce.  He very much enjoyed his visit and meeting the ex-service workforce.  We all felt it was a highly appropriate way for him to mark D-Day in Scotland.Secretary of State Visit 010
