Autumn School Visit Programme

ATTENTION, ATTENTION, ALL PRIMARY SCHOOL TEACHERS!

The school visit programme is filling up fast so if you want to visit please see our tour page and complete the on-line visit form.

Annually in the lead up to Armistice the factory runs a school visit programme.   The programme consists of a specialist interactive mobile museum which teaches children about life during wartime. After the interactive presentation the children are split into groups and taken around the factory, where they learn about all aspects of poppy making and distribution. At the end of the tour, which lasts approximately 1 1/2 hrs, the children are invited to make poppies.  If you wish, the children can also make a poppy wreath with your school badge in the centre but this will cost £26.00.  If you wish to take this offer up, please send us a copy of your school badge in jpeg format to shop@lhpfscotland.org.uk.   The factory has been running this programme for a number of years and it has always proved hugely popular with all who attend.
