School children visit the Poppy Factory to learn about poppies and life during WW2

Learning about life during WW2

The programme consists of a specialist interactive mobile museum which teaches children about life during wartime. After the interactive presentation the children are split into groups and taken around the factory, where they learn about all aspects of poppy making and distribution. At the end of the tour, which lasts approximately 1 1/2 hrs, the children are invited to make poppies.

If you wish, the children can also make a poppy wreath with your school badge in the centre which will cost £28.00.  If you would like to take this offer up, please send us a copy of your school badge in jpeg format to shop@lhpfscotland.org.uk.
