When you visit Poppy Factory Framing you will be given a warm welcome by our two expert framers, Willy Magee and Andy Brown.

In line with the ethos of Lady Haig Poppy Factory, both Willy and Andy are ex-Serviceman who have benefited from our supported employment policy following their discharge from the Forces. Willy served with the Army Air Corps and Andy is a veteran of the 2nd Battalion Scots Guards.

Willy has been framing for over 20 years and completed the rigorous Fine Arts Trade Guild exams to become Guild Commended Framer four years ago. As well as being an expert in his trade, Willy is also an established artist and regularly exhibits his artwork.

Having worked within the Poppy Factory a number of years ago, Andy returned two years ago to take up his current post in Poppy Factory Framing. Having mastered his new trade under the guidance of Willy, he is now undertaking his Fine Art Trade Guild exams and hopes to be able to boast Guild Commended Framer status shortly too.
